Order Information
- Order details (grain type, quantity, blend preferences, delivery address).
- Payment transaction IDs (we do not store full card or UPI details).
Device & Usage Information
- Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting.
- Biometric capability flags (we check whether Face ID / fingerprint is available; we never store biometric data).
Location
- Approximate location (only when you grant permission) to show the nearest grinding station and estimate delivery times.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process and deliver your orders.
- To send order status updates via SMS or push notification.
- To improve our app, services, and customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services to operate CHAKKI & CO.:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication (phone OTP, Google Sign-In) and crash analytics.
- Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs payment data.
- Google Maps / Location Services — to display delivery areas and nearby stations.
Each third-party service processes data under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data needed to provide the service.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in India.
- All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. Biometric data never leaves your device.
- We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
5. Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate information via the app's profile screen.
- Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent — revoke location or notification permissions at any time through your device settings.
6. Children's Privacy
CHAKKI & CO. is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
